Trees
By Meghan Doyle
Those majestic kings
That make up a forest.
Whose advantage we take
To make all kinds of things.
Those leaves
A hearth, warmed by the stove of the sun,
Patterns like a cobblestone street,
With bricks side by side it, deceives.
And the branch,
A bow, bending under an archers hand.
In the autumn,
It lets slip the leaves in an avalanche.
And behold the trunk,
Bare, like a dirt road through an empty country.
One of these kings is taken from its throne,
And used to make one soldier's bunk.

Here is a list of the following things I've done since 2011:
graduated community college, ate some pie, drove to New York, stalked Zachary Quinto, changed my laptop password to 'password' (I've always wanted to do that), went to ACEN like 3 times, watched every Anton Yelchin movie EVER, bluescreened #NOOOOO, learned what hastags were, resented them, #stockholmsyndrome , went to University in Montana, chased some elk with a flute, found Chris Pine's house on google earth (no I won't tell you where it is, PRIVACY, PEOPLE *takes screenshots of CP's pool*), ate spaghetti during American Horror Story 4 opening #mistake , wrote excessive amounts o
Hi, Meghan here. If you were familiar with my old bio, I'm sorry. But here I am. I don't put up much work anymore, sorry. I might put something up every couple of months or so, but don't hold your breath. I do, however, come on at least once a week. Sorry for any inconvenience that might cause.
I miss what I had here when I first joined dA.
I haven't updated anything in a year ish. So here we go.
I broke up with my boyfriend of almost 4 years last January and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I changed my major, too. I'm about to start my junior year, as a Music Business major. I miss so many of my friends here, so many people I used to talk to that I haven't heard from in years. I miss you all, and I still care about you deeply. I hope we can connect again
As many of you may have noticed, if there's anyone left who reads these, I haven't been on much in... years. My life has been so crazy, and I don't see it straightening out at all in the near future now that I'm in college. When I started posting things on dA in October 2010, it was a weird time in my life. I was in 7th grade, and the most horribly awkward person on earth, and I wanted so badly to be a part of something; a community where people accepted my eccentricities and obsessions of the time. That's what I found here, and I'm so grateful for it.
Now, though, I don't need that. I am not creating any visual art anymore, not really. I'm
